Get Your Music On' - Our NEW Week Long School Holiday Music Camp







Get Your Music On' is a jam packed, fun filled school holiday music program designed for kids aged 7 - 12 years old. No experience is necessary, just a good attitude and a willingness to have lots of musical fun.

The program takes place each school holiday and runs for four (4) days over the shorter school holiday weeks and five (5) days during the summer break (January).

The teachers involved are all professional music instructors and have completed a 'Working With Children Check'. Program participant numbers are capped to ensure your child's safety and to ensure that your child gets the most out of their school holiday activities. If a child is disruptive, refuses to heed instruction they may be removed from their program and all fees will be forfeited.

2013 'Get Your Music On' School Holiday Program Dates

TERM 4    14 - 18 January, 2013
TERM 1    22 to 26 April (no program on 25 April due to Anzac Day)
TERM 2    8 - 11 July
TERM 3    30 September - 3 October
TERM 4    13 - 17 January, 2014

GENERAL COST: $290 pp (discounts available for 2 or more)

5% discount when enrolling 2 siblings
7% discount when enrolling 3 siblings
10% discount when enrolling 4 or more


WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?

  • You'll get to play and learn about a variety of musical instruments
  • You'll write your own songs where you will write the words and the music (don't worry, we'll be helping you with this task)
  • You'll experience music workshops and lessons (varies each time) e.g percussion workshop
  • You'll join in all sorts of fun musical games and activities
  • You'll do some singing (it's ok if you've never tried before)
  • You'll be introduced to music technology and discover how music is recorded and produced
  • You'll have LOTS OF FUN!
  • If you play a musical instrument, you'll have the opportunity to bring your instruments and jam with other kids of similar levels (this component is optional).

TERMS

Kids will need to bring their own lunches over the duration of the program, and we'll be providing some light refreshments and water/juice for afternoon tea.

If you need to arrange alternative times for drop-off and pick-up, please let us know in the enrollment process. We charge a small fee for any after-school care that is required.

Our school holiday music program is held at our Headquarter Studios in Alice Street, New town.
If your children cannot attend the entire week's program, please let us know which days you would or can attend. Please note cost is $80 per day (min. 3 day attendance).

If you can't attend this particular program, don't be disappointed. We'll be running 'Get Your Music On' during every school holiday with slight variations to some of the workshops that will be run.
